ROLLS-ROYCE 40-50HP CHASSIS FEELER GAUGE SET

I would say the condition is good with no broken blades, the blades and the gauge body have some staining. 

One blade (.003)has a slight curl to it but it is not damaged

One blade (.010) has a very slight curl right at the end

   I would say that the gauge has not been dismantled and is an original toolkit item, the gauge was shown to an eminent concours judge who said that it was a nice original tool

   The body of the gauge is marked "ROLLS-ROYCE LTD" and on the reverse "40/50 HP CHASSIS". the individual blades are marked :-

025 OR .635MM

.003 OR .076MM

.004 OR .10MM

.014 OR .35MM on reverse MAGNETO CONTACT MAKER

.020 OR .508MM on reverse MAGNETO PLUG

.030 OR .762MM on reverse BATTERY PLUG

.010 OR .254MM 

The body is 3 3/8 inches long and 3/16 inch thick, and the gauge was made by Chesterman (Sheffield)
